David L. Kerby

David L. Kerby is a highly respected trial attorney with extensive experience representing clients in personal injury cases, civil lawsuits, and complex legal disputes across Texas and New Mexico. Board-certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, David focuses his practice on wrongful death, sexual abuse, oil and gas litigation, commercial disputes, and mediation. He has successfully handled cases for individuals, corporations, and business entities in both state and federal courts.

David earned his B.S. in Animal Science from Texas Tech University, an R.M. from Texas Christian University’s Ranch Management Program, and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, he served on the Board of Barristers and tried his first jury case as a student attorney. Licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico, David is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

David’s board certification places him among the top trial lawyers in Texas, reflecting his commitment to excellence and client advocacy. His legal experience covers a wide range of lawsuits and disputes, including personal injury, civil rights, land and mineral claims, and catastrophic injury litigation.
