David K. Ramirez

David K. Ramirez is an associate at Bayard, P.A. and a member of the firm’s Family Law group in Wilmington. His practice is focused on family law, supported by experience inside the Family Court of the State of Delaware. Before joining Bayard, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Felice G. Kerr and the Honorable Natalie J. Haskins, giving him direct exposure to Delaware family court proceedings and judicial decision-making.

David earned a J.D., cum laude, from Delaware Law School, formerly Widener School of Law. He was a Domestic Violence Advocacy Fellow, competed with the Moot Court Honor Society at the Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition, and was admitted to the Order of the Barristers for oral advocacy and writing. He also earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware with a minor in Sociology.

David developed practical family law experience during law school and through his clerkships. In his third year, he interned for the Honorable Felice G. Kerr and assisted Delaware Volunteer Legal Services with research. His later clerkships for two Delaware Family Court judges deepened his familiarity with family law procedure and case analysis. This background complements his current work representing clients through legal issues handled by Bayard’s Family Law group.

David K. Ramirez is admitted to practice law in Delaware and is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the Melson-Arsht Inn of Court. His academic focus on family law advocacy, service with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, and judicial clerkship experience provide a strong foundation for client representation. He approaches family law matters with experience in legal research, written advocacy, courtroom procedure, and the practical demands of Delaware Family Court litigation.
