David J. Grimaldi

David J. Grimaldi is a Massachusetts criminal defense lawyer whose practice is devoted to criminal cases in state and federal court and related misconduct proceedings in educational and professional settings. He represents clients facing allegations ranging from serious violent offenses to fraud, money laundering, larceny, drug trafficking, and other complex charges. David began his legal career with the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Massachusetts’s public defender agency, where he spent seven years defending cases in Brockton, Salem, and Boston. He later opened his private practice and has obtained acquittals, dismissals, and successful suppression rulings in matters involving drugs, firearms, computer evidence, cell phones, identifications, and statements to police. His work spans federal, superior, district, and municipal courts and includes cases carrying significant potential penalties.

David J. Grimaldi serves on the board of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and belongs to national, state, and local criminal defense and bar organizations.
