David earned a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in Ohio. During his time in law school, he gained valuable insights working as a research assistant in sports law and contracts and interning with the Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office.
David Ginzer’s legal career began in Stuart, Florida, where he served as an assistant public defender, representing clients in complex criminal cases, including those with severe penalties. His extensive trial experience equipped him with the skills necessary to advocate effectively for his clients. Subsequently, he joined a respected Florida law firm, representing businesses and individuals in commercial foreclosures, loan workouts, and special asset litigation. Before joining Richardson, Whitman, Large & Badger in 2018, David worked at an international law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he represented financial institutions in courts nationwide.
Licensed to practice in Maine, Florida, and before several U.S. District Courts, David is also a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. He is highly regarded for his commitment to excellence and his ability to navigate complex legal issues, earning him recognition among his peers and the distinction of being selected to Rising Stars in 2024.
