About
Darryl Feldman is a co-founder and principal of Feldman Jackson in Bethesda, Maryland. His practice focuses on divorce and family law matters in Maryland and the District of Columbia, including negotiation, settlements, and litigation. He represents clients facing complex financial disputes, high-conflict custody cases, spousal support, child support, and division of marital property. He emphasizes reaching thoughtful settlements when possible while preparing for courtroom proceedings when agreement cannot resolve a dispute.
Darryl earned a B.S.M. from Tulane University in 1991 and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1994. He also passed the Maryland CPA examination, a qualification that informs his analysis of complicated finances and income structures in family law cases. He was admitted to practice in Maryland in 1994 and the District of Columbia in 1997. His background supports work involving business valuation, financial evidence, and disputed property interests.
Darryl has more than 25 years of courtroom experience handling family law litigation. His cases often require evaluation of assets and income, as well as parenting issues involving children. He assists with prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and litigation arising from contested financial or custody issues. In addition to representing clients, he teaches continuing legal education programs and serves on the faculty of the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston.
Darryl Feldman has appeared in The Best Lawyers in America for family law since 2010 and has received repeated Super Lawyers and regional attorney recognition. His professional activities include leadership roles with the District of Columbia Bar’s family law committees and participation in Maryland and Montgomery County bar organizations.
