Darby L. Hoggatt

Darby L. Hoggatt is the owner and managing attorney of Hoggatt Law Office, P.C., based in Loveland, Colorado. With more than 30 years of legal experience, he represents injured workers and people harmed in vehicle collisions, premises accidents, and other personal injury matters. His practice includes workers’ compensation, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and Social Security disability claims. He serves clients across northern Colorado and also maintains an office presence in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Hoggatt earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1995 and a B.S. in Finance from the same university in 1992. During law school, he served as a senior staff member of the Land and Water Law Review. His legal and financial education supports his work with medical documentation, wage-loss issues, insurance disputes, and the long-term financial effects that injuries can have on workers and families.

Hoggatt began his career in general practice in Wyoming and later worked as a mortgage banker before turning to personal injury and workers’ compensation law in Fort Collins in 1999. He has managed his current firm since 2002. His work includes cases involving motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries in construction, trucking, and oil and gas operations, along with claims involving serious head, neck, back, and spinal injuries.
