Daniel Shaffer

Daniel Shaffer is a criminal defense lawyer whose practice includes serious criminal defense and civil rights litigation. He represents clients in state and federal courts across Western Colorado in matters ranging from traffic offenses and civil disputes to major felony cases, including murder, drug crimes, and sex offenses. Daniel earned his degree from Southern Illinois School of Law. He also received a liberal arts degree from the University of Iowa, with an emphasis in Social Work and English. His education gave him a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, communication, and understanding human behavior.

Throughout his career, Daniel has represented thousands of clients in federal and state courts and has tried nearly 100 jury cases in Western Colorado.
