Daniel S. Sharp is a shareholder at Jordan Ramis PC in Portland, Oregon. His litigation-based practice includes employment issues, creditors’ rights, construction matters, and corporate and commercial disputes. Dan represents clients in matters ranging from internal business conflicts to international contract disputes and fraudulent-transfer litigation. Dan earned a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a B.A. from San Diego State University. He is admitted in Oregon, Washington, and California, as well as several federal courts and the Ninth Circuit. His legal education and multistate practice support his ability to address disputes involving different industries, procedural settings, and governing laws while maintaining a practical focus on risk, litigation strategy, and business consequences.

Dan’s prior practice included prosecuting complex qui tam and whistleblower actions under California’s Insurance Fraud Prevention Act, Unfair Competition Act, and RICO. His current work covers matters involving employment, creditors’ rights, business relationships, commercial contracts, construction, and related litigation. He has handled disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and state and federal court proceedings, drawing on varied experience to assess both legal claims and the practical pressures facing clients during litigation.

Daniel S. Sharp was elected a shareholder of Jordan Ramis in 2025 and has been recognized as a San Francisco Super Lawyers Rising Star. His professional affiliations include the American Health Law Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and the Multnomah Bar Association.
