Daniel J. Weintraub

Daniel J. Weintraub is a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of experience in bankruptcy law and business litigation. As a partner at Weintraub Zolkin Talerico & Selth LLP, he is a creative problem solver. He is known for helping small and mid-sized businesses and individuals with financial problems.

Daniel specializes in Chapter 11 reorganization and Subchapter V bankruptcy. He also works on out-of-court debt restructures and creditor rights. He began his practice at the boutique bankruptcy firm Levene & Eisenberg. Then, he advanced to senior associate in the Banking and Finance Department at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton.

Daniel’s work as in-house counsel for City National Bank gave him a deep understanding of creditor rights and financial litigation. In 1992, Daniel founded his own firm. It later became Weintraub Zolkin Talerico & Selth LLP in 2001.

Daniel represents both debtors and creditors, giving him a strategic edge in complex financial and employment disputes. Daniel’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law in 1987. He is a member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations. He is on the LA County Bar’s Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section. He actively participates in its Individual and Consumer Bankruptcy Sub-Committee.
