Daniel I. Dittman

Daniel I. Dittman is a shareholder and estate planning lawyer at Erickson Sederstrom who helps clients prepare plans reflecting their present needs and future wishes. He advises individuals and families on estate and gift planning, trust administration, probate, and federal and state taxation. He develops tailored strategies for transferring assets, selecting fiduciaries, addressing tax concerns, and preparing for incapacity or death. He focuses on practical guidance that helps clients understand difficult decisions and organize their affairs with greater confidence.

Daniel earned his J.D. cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in 2013. He built his legal foundation through focused study of estate, probate, trust, and tax issues. He continues to use that education when explaining legal requirements and evaluating how family, financial, and charitable goals connect. His academic involvement extends beyond his degree because he serves as an adjunct professor at Creighton University School of Law.

Daniel works within the firm’s Estate, Probate and Trust Law Division. He assists personal representatives and trustees with estate administration, probate proceedings, tax obligations, distributions, and fiduciary responsibilities. He guides clients through charitable planning and serves as planned giving counsel to Mosaic, a national nonprofit supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
