Daniel deLalla

Daniel deLalla is a personal injury attorney at Rutter Mills with deep roots in the Tidewater area. For over a decade, he has represented hundreds of injured clients in serious cases. His work includes car accidents, truck accidents, medical malpractice, dog bites, and slip and fall claims.

Dan earned his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2007. He attended William and Mary School of Law from 2009 to 2010 and graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2010. His legal background also includes service as a former Commonwealth Attorney in Virginia.

Dan has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and is Super Lawyers Rated. He is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and admitted to the Supreme Court of Virginia. Dan began his legal career as an intern at Rutter Mills, where he learned about maritime and personal injury law. He later served as a criminal defense attorney and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Virginia Beach and Portsmouth before returning to Rutter Mills as a personal injury lawyer.

Daniel deLalla represents clients in state and federal matters, including cases before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appels, Fourth Circuit. He fights to help clients right a wrong and move forward.
