About
Daniel A. Parmele is a disability attorney focused on Social Security disability claims and related advocacy. He believes his role is to fight for each client’s best chance at benefits while treating the process with respect. His work centers on helping people who face hardship, uncertainty, and need during difficult times.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Wichita State University in 1987. He later earned his Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in 1990, where he was part of the SLU Law Journal in 1989–90 during his formal legal studies there.
Daniel was admitted to the State of Kansas in 1990, the State of Missouri in 1991, and the State of Oklahoma in 2005. His federal admissions also include the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court of Missouri, Western District, and U.S. District Court of Kansas.
Daniel began his legal career with direct experience inside the Social Security Administration, where he served as a Senior Staff Attorney. In that role, he worked closely with Administrative Law Judges and helped review disability claims. This background gave him a close view of how benefit decisions were evaluated.
Daniel opened his private practice in 1995 to use that Social Security knowledge directly for disabled people seeking help. Since then, his practice has focused on representing Social Security claimants. He understands that many applicants are supporting families, managing health problems, and trying to move through a complex system.
Daniel is connected with several legal organizations, including the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, the Missouri Bar Association, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Wichita Bar Association. These memberships reflect his continued professional work in disability law and his involvement with professional groups tied to legal service and claimant representation.
Daniel A. Parmele helps people by combining agency experience, legal training, and steady practical advocacy for disability benefits. His work supports claimants who need clear guidance and a strong voice during the Social Security disability process. He aims to provide compassionate and zealous representation while treating each case with care throughout the claims.
