Dan Daly

Dan Daly is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with extensive courtroom experience and rare insight into the justice system. Licensed in Massachusetts since 2004, he has served as lead trial counsel in more than 100 trials and hundreds of evidentiary hearings. His career spans roles as a prosecutor, police officer, and defense attorney, allowing him to understand investigations, charging decisions, and trial strategy from every angle with clarity and precision.

Raised in Boston, Dan attended Boston Latin Academy before earning a B.A. in Political Science from Stonehill College. He received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he competed nationally on the Trial Team and represented indigent defendants through a criminal defense clinic, gaining early trial victories and developing a fearless, client-centered advocacy style focused on preparation, ethics, communication, and courtroom confidence daily practice.

After law school, Dan served as an Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases in busy urban courts. He later became a Boston Police Officer, gaining firsthand investigative experience and earning NHTSA certification in standardized field sobriety testing. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General in Washington, D.C., handling complex juvenile and criminal prosecutions involving serious charges, sensitive investigations, constitutional issues, and public safety concerns statewide.

Returning to private practice, Dan Daly founded a defense-focused firm dedicated to criminal and OUI cases. He is recognized as a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 honoree and is known for meticulous preparation, strategic judgment, and aggressive advocacy.
