Damian C. Hanson, Associate Attorney at Webber & Thies, P.C., focuses his practice on litigation, business representation, employment, and insurance law. Damian earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Elder Law Journal and a member of the 2020 Evans National Moot Court Team. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, cum laude, from Creighton University. Admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2021, he quickly distinguished himself as a thoughtful and driven legal advocate. His diverse background in both academic and practical settings has strengthened his ability to analyze multifaceted issues and deliver sound legal strategies.

Before joining the firm, Damian gained valuable experience as a Legal Fellow with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General and as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Brigid Mary McGrath in the Circuit Court of Cook County. He also interned with the Chicago Transit Authority Law Department, Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division, and the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office, gaining insight into both public and private sector legal processes.

An active member of the Champaign County and Illinois State Bar Associations, Damian C. Hanson currently serves on the ISBA’s Business Advice and Financial Planning and Young Lawyers Division Councils.
