D. Welborn Adams

D. Welborn Adams is a South Carolina attorney whose practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning, and business law. As the managing member of Tinsley & Adams, he advises individuals, families, and business owners on property transactions, wills, and estate planning. He also handles the preparation of corporate documents, including corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies (LLCs). With more than three decades of legal experience, he provides practical legal guidance tailored to the needs of clients throughout the Greenwood area.

Mr. Adams graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1988 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1992. He is a member of the Greenwood County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Palmetto Land Title Association. He also serves as an agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Corporation, further strengthening his experience in real estate and title matters.

Mr. Adams has built a longstanding practice centered on real estate law, estate planning, and business formation since beginning his legal career in 1992. In addition to his legal work, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service by serving as Mayor of Greenwood, South Carolina, from 2009 to 2011 and as Board Chairman of the Sexual Trauma & Counseling Center.
