D. Robert Stankoski, Jr.

D. Robert Stankoski, Jr. is the founding partner of Stankoski Myrick LLC, where he focuses on family law, divorce mediation, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Since beginning his private practice in Fairhope, Alabama, in 1997, he has represented clients in divorce, child custody, child support, post-divorce modifications, personal injury, contract disputes, construction litigation, real estate matters, and contested probate proceedings. He also brings prosecutorial and judicial experience to his practice, offering clients a well-rounded perspective in both civil and criminal cases.

Mr. Stankoski, earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 and later received his Juris Doctor in 1997. He was admitted to the Alabama Bar in the same year. He is also a certified divorce mediator and received the Alabama State Bar Association Pro Bono Award for Mediation in 2012 in recognition of his commitment to alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Stankoski has litigated hundreds of domestic relations cases throughout Baldwin and Mobile Counties since founding Stankoski Myrick LLC. Before entering private practice, he served as a Special Prosecutor in the Economic Crime Division of the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting complex white-collar crime and business fraud cases. He currently serves as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Summerdale, Secondary Judge for the City of Gulf Shores, and Municipal Prosecutor for the Town of Elberta, presiding over thousands of criminal matters.

His work as a certified mediator, prosecutor, and municipal judge, combined with his 2012 Pro Bono Award for Mediation, reflects his dedication to both the legal profession and the communities he serves throughout South Alabama.
