D. Pearson Beardsley

D. Pearson Beardsley is an accomplished business and corporate attorney with more than 20 years of legal experience. He is Of Counsel at Law Firm GC, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he focuses on business transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate law. Mr. Beardsley assists privately held companies with mergers and acquisitions, business sales, succession planning, and contract negotiation and drafting.

Mr. Beardsley earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in English from Vanderbilt University in 1997. He later obtained his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2001.

Mr. Beardsley began his legal career at a prominent international law firm in New York City, where he gained experience in handling complex legal matters. In 2008, he founded his own law firm, building a specialized practice assisting businesses with entity formation, joint ventures, and restructuring commercial transactions. His work often involves helping businesses remain compliant with legal regulations while achieving their goals.

Beyond his practice, Mr. Beardsley has played an active role in Georgia’s legal community. He has served as Chair of the State Bar of Georgia’s State Disciplinary Board and as a member of the State Disciplinary Review Board, helping to maintain professional standards in the legal profession.

He also dedicates time to community-focused initiatives. Mr. Beardsley is a founding board member of the Georgia Heirs Property Law Center, where he supports property ownership rights.
