Crista earned her B.S. in Business Administration and Management from San Diego State University. She went on to complete her J.D. at the Southern California Institute of Law, where she was active in Delta Theta Phi. Her education in both business and law provides a strong foundation for helping families manage assets, choose the right legal tools, and understand long-term financial planning.

Crista has a legal career that began with meaningful volunteer work at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and the Coalition to End Family Violence. She gained hands-on experience as a law clerk in Westlake Village before becoming an associate attorney. In 2015, she founded Hermance Law, A Professional Corporation, with a mission to make estate planning understandable and accessible. Over the years, she has helped countless families create wills, trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, and guardianship documents.

Crista Hermance also guides families through probate and trust administration, offering support during some of their most difficult moments.
