About

Craig P. Kalinoski is a dedicated advocate with strong experience in criminal defense, family law, and personal injury matters. He relies on practical investigative training and knowledge of legal procedure to guide clients through difficult situations. Craig represents individuals in a wide range of cases, from criminal charges and protection matters to divorce, custody, and financial disputes, offering clear guidance and committed advocacy at every stage.

Craig earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Marywood College(now known as Marywood University). Before becoming an attorney, he completed municipal police academy training and gained firsthand experience in law enforcement. This background gives him a deep understanding of police procedures, accident investigation, and use-of-force standards, all of which support his ability to prepare and evaluate cases with precision.

Throughout his legal career, Craig has worked in both private practice and public service, including experience with a prominent criminal defense firm and the Lackawanna County Public Defender’s Office. His work includes defending clients against misdemeanor and felony charges, protecting parental rights in family law cases, and handling injury claims involving negligence. His investigative foundation helps him analyze evidence, identify weaknesses in the opposition’s case, and develop strong legal strategies.

Named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers from 2013 through 2015, Craig P. Kalinoski is admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Federal Middle District Court of Pennsylvania. He is known for providing honest assessments and straightforward legal advice. Today, he continues to represent clients across Northeastern Pennsylvania, working to defend their rights and achieve fair results in criminal, family, and injury matters.
