Craig B. Zaller is the managing partner and a principal of Nagle & Zaller, where he focuses on representing community associations. He has spent most of his legal career with the firm, guiding boards through complex legal issues with practical advice, strong advocacy, and deep knowledge of association operations.
Craig earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland in 1989. He later received a Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law in 1993 and was a member of the Traynor Honor Society. He also completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego in 1994.
Craig’s practice centers on community association law, along with corporate law, contract law, creditors’ rights and collections, commercial law, and real estate. He has handled complex trial and appellate matters involving restrictive covenants, rule enforcement, construction defects, and operational issues affecting associations of all sizes.
Craig is an active member of the Community Associations Institute and previously served as president of the Chesapeake Region Chapter. Over his career, Craig has achieved significant legal victories that have shaped community association law. He successfully influenced Federal Communications Commission rulings on satellite dish placement, establishing standards later adopted in similar cases.
