Courtney Anderson

Courtney Anderson is a Partner at BRE Law, where she represents clients across Central Illinois in personal injury, family law, criminal defense, and estate planning. Her practice focuses on helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with compassion, professionalism, and strong courtroom advocacy. Known for her strategic preparation and client-centered approach, Courtney is committed to achieving fair, effective resolutions for every case she handles.

Courtney completed her undergraduate degree in Pre-Law from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where she interned at the Jackson County Public Defender’s Office and gained early experience defending felony cases ranging from theft to first-degree murder. She then earned her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School, now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During law school, she volunteered at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic and CASA of Cook County, assisting victims of abuse and advocating for children in need.

Before joining BRE Law, Courtney worked for a downtown Chicago firm in its personal injury department, where she secured more than $12 million in total compensation for her clients. After five years of success in Chicago, she returned home to Decatur to continue serving her community with integrity and dedication. She is licensed to practice in all Illinois state courts and the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois.

Courtney Anderson is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Decatur Bar Association. She represents clients across Macon, McLean, Logan, Piatt, Sangamon, and surrounding counties. Her tireless advocacy and record of success have earned her the trust of clients who rely on her for responsive communication, strong representation, and outstanding results.
