Cory Roth

Cory Roth is a Houston criminal defense attorney and founder of a criminal law practice. He represents people facing accusations involving DWI, domestic violence, assault, drugs, theft, robbery, sex offenses, and other felony or misdemeanor charges. His practice is centered on investigating the prosecution’s evidence and presenting a defense in court. He has tried numerous cases as lead attorney and places particular emphasis on protecting the rights of people accused of crimes.

Cory earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2010 and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2013. During law school, he participated in mock trial activities and earned a high mark in trial advocacy. He later completed training through Gideon’s Promise, a program focused on criminal defense representation. His academic and trial-related training support his work analyzing evidence, preparing arguments, and presenting cases to juries.

Cory has handled misdemeanor and felony cases throughout Texas, including matters involving alleged family violence, drug offenses, and other criminal charges. His legal work includes challenging searches and evidence, filing motions, and trying cases before juries. His record includes dismissals in misdemeanor cases and not-guilty verdicts in criminal trials where he served as lead counsel. He is admitted to practice in Texas and in the Southern District of Texas federal court.
