Corinne E. Rutledge

Corinne E. Rutledge is a member and shareholder at Lathrop & Rutledge, P.C. in Cheyenne with a practice centered on complex civil litigation. She concentrates on professional liability defense, particularly medical malpractice, along with products liability, catastrophic personal injury claims, commercial and employment disputes, and insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. She represents clients in federal and state courts throughout Wyoming.

Corinne earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming, College of Law, and a B.S. with honors from the University of Southern Colorado. Her legal education prepared her for a career focused on courtroom advocacy and complex liability disputes. She began her practice as an assistant state public defender, managing and trying major felony cases before moving into a broad civil litigation practice.

Corinne joined Lathrop & Rutledge in 1989 and became a member and shareholder in 1991. Her admissions include Wyoming state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming, the Federal District Court of Colorado, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She has held leadership roles in defense-law organizations and has extensive trial experience across professional liability and insurance matters.

Corinne E. Rutledge is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has served in leadership roles with the Defense Research Institute, Defense Lawyers Association of Wyoming, and Laramie County Bar Association. Her practice combines trial experience with detailed analysis of medical, product, employment, commercial, and insurance issues, helping clients defend significant civil claims in state and federal courts.
