Clay Froseth is an attorney at Maverick Law Group in Minot and is part of the firm’s current legal team serving the city and surrounding North Dakota communities. Maverick Law Group identifies estate planning, probate, elder law, business law, contract law, guardianship and conservatorship, oil and gas law, property law, and real estate as areas handled by the firm. Clay works within that multi-practice setting while building his legal career in western North Dakota.

Clay earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Dakota. He became licensed to practice law in North Dakota in September 2024. His legal education provides a foundation in research, writing, statutory interpretation, and legal analysis, while his sociology background adds perspective on institutions, communities, and the practical circumstances that can shape a client’s legal needs.

After completing law school, Clay returned to the Minot area with the stated goal of providing legal services to Minot and surrounding communities. His current role places him on a team that handles planning, property, business, and other civil legal matters for individuals and organizations. As an early-career attorney, he contributes to client service while continuing to develop practical experience within the firm’s established practice areas and North Dakota legal environment.

Clay Froseth brings recent legal training and a local service focus to his work at Maverick Law Group. His current position gives him the opportunity to assist clients through a firm that handles estate planning and probate as well as business, contract, property, and related matters.
