Claudette G. Wilson

Claudette G. Wilson is a Partner Emeritus at Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP and one of the firm’s founding partners. Since helping establish the firm in 1991, she has built a distinguished career leading its Employment Law Practice Group for three decades. As the firm’s first Managing Partner, Claudette guided its growth and success until her retirement in January 2022, setting the standard for excellence and leadership.

Claudette earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the Université de Bordeaux and the University of California, San Diego, both in 1976, before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1983. Her educational background provided a strong foundation for a career defined by integrity, professionalism, and a deep commitment to advancing employment law.

Over her 30-plus-year career, Claudette successfully represented Fortune 500 companies in complex employment litigation, achieving numerous trial victories and maintaining an impressive record before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her skill as a litigator and advocate earned her recognition as the San Diego Employment Law – Management Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America and inclusion in Women in the Law by Best Lawyers Business.

A respected leader in the legal community, Claudette G. Wilson has been celebrated as a “Woman Who Means Business,” “Top Lawyer,” and “Best Attorney.” She also dedicated her time to service and mentorship, including as president and board member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers’ San Diego Chapter and as a Master in the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court for twenty years. Her legacy continues to inspire professionalism, inclusion, and excellence in the legal profession.
