Christopher M. Mattei

Christopher M. Mattei is a nationally recognized trial lawyer known for leading some of the most consequential courtroom battles in recent U.S. legal history. He earned acclaim for representing Sandy Hook families in a landmark defamation suit, resulting in a historic $1.4 billion verdict. His trial work continues to shape public accountability and civil justice.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, followed by a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2005 and is also licensed in the U.S. District Court District of Connecticut and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
