Christopher A. Larsen

Christopher A. Larsen is Senior Counsel at Pickett Dummigan Weingart in Portland and a trial lawyer whose practice includes Civil Rights, pedestrian, bicycle and motor vehicle collisions, and representation of crime victims. His civil rights work includes matters involving police brutality, excessive force, and race and sex discrimination. He brings decades of courtroom experience to cases involving government conduct, serious personal injury, victim rights, and disputes that require litigation in Oregon state and federal courts.

Christopher earned a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1990 and a B.S. from the University of Oregon in 1985. He has been admitted to the Oregon Bar since 1991, the US District Court for the District of Oregon since 1998, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit since 2003. His education and admissions support a practice that spans trial and appellate issues in significant civil rights and injury matters.

Christopher served for six years as a full-time Judge Pro Tem for the Multnomah County Circuit Court before returning to private practice in 2011. He has more than three decades of courtroom experience representing people in Oregon state and federal courts. His work covers civil rights claims, serious transportation collisions, and cases for victims of crime, providing a broad litigation platform for clients harmed by unlawful conduct, negligence, violence, or abuse.

Christopher A. Larsen continues public service as an appointed member of the Clackamas County Traffic Safety Commission and belongs to professional organizations including the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
