Christine Moriarty

Christine Moriarty is a criminal defense attorney with Hirsch Law Group, which serves clients in Chicago, its suburbs, and other Illinois communities. She represents individuals facing criminal allegations and legal proceedings that can affect their freedom, employment, and families. Her practice draws on experience from both sides of criminal cases. Christine earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, now UIC School of Law. Her legal training prepared her for work in criminal procedure, court advocacy, and the assessment of evidence. She began her professional career in public service after completing law school. That experience laid the foundation for her later work in private practice and criminal defense, where attention to factual details and the consequences of criminal charges remains important.

Christine worked for several years with the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office before becoming an Assistant Public Defender in the same county. She also maintained a private legal practice and later advised a legal nonprofit organization. After returning to private criminal defense work, she represented people in the Chicago suburbs and Central Illinois. Her career has included prosecuting criminal cases, defending accused individuals, and advising clients through challenging legal circumstances.

Christine Moriarty brings familiarity with prosecutorial decision-making and public defense to her current representation.
