Christian P. Christensen

Christian P. Christensen is a New Mexico attorney who has provided legal services since being licensed to practice in the state in September 2006. After spending nearly 11 years with New Mexico’s Public Defender Office, he established his own private practice at Christian P. Christensen Law Office to serve individuals and families facing a wide range of legal issues. His practice includes criminal defense law, family law, personal injury matters, and other general legal services. He is known for helping clients understand the legal process, their rights, and the challenges involved in their cases. One of his most notable cases involved serving as lead counsel for a juvenile charged with first-degree murder and several related offenses. He managed pre-trial motions, trial preparation, jury selection, witness examinations, and appellate filings. His appellate work contributed to a reversal and remand for a new trial based on important constitutional issues involving Miranda rights. He also served as lead and sole counsel during the second trial and continued advocating through additional appeals.

Christian P.
