Christa J. Groshek

Christa J. Groshek, founder and managing attorney at Groshek Law in Minneapolis, has distinguished herself in the field of criminal defense since her graduation Cum Laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2000. With a robust focus on defending individuals against serious allegations such as criminal sexual conduct, child pornography, and murder, she brings a compassionate yet rigorous approach to each case.

Christa’s career began with roles that solidified her foundation in criminal law. As a law clerk in the Washington County Public Defender’s Office and later for the Honorable Thomas Armstrong, she gained invaluable experience in civil law and criminal defense, respectively.

Her hands-on experience expanded significantly at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office, where she initially worked in Juvenile Court before moving to the Adult Felony Trial Team.

In 2018, Christa Groshek transformed the way complex cases are handled by creating the innovative “Groshek Method.” This modern, team-based strategy assigns three dedicated attorneys to every case, delivering a thorough investigation and a strong, well-prepared defense. Proven effective in criminal defense, child protection, and family law matters, the Groshek Method reflects Christa’s commitment to proactive, professional representation. Under her leadership, Groshek Law has grown into a robust legal team of seven attorneys and five support staff, all focused on providing detail-oriented, client-centered advocacy.
