Chris Odom

Chris Odom is a personal injury trial lawyer and co-founder of Pepper & Odom, with a practice that includes Birmingham, Alabama, and Jackson, Mississippi. He represents people who have suffered injuries or lost family members after accidents and other alleged acts of negligence. Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Mississippi State University with a 4.0 grade point average. During law school, he was a senior editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession, worked as a research assistant, and received awards for legal writing.

Before entering private practice, Chris clerked with attorneys handling maritime and insurance defense trials in Louisiana and serious truck and motor vehicle accident cases in Florida. He established his own practice with Everett Pepper in 2012 and served as lead counsel in a jury trial within months. His later litigation has included offshore oilfield accidents, industrial events, product liability matters, commercial vehicle collisions, and fatal premises-related incidents.

Chris Odom belongs to the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Association for Justice, the Birmingham Bar Association, and other professional organizations. He has received recognition from trial-lawyer groups, including The National Trial Lawyers.
