About

Chiquita Hall-Jackson is the founder of Hall-Jackson & Associates, P.C. in Chicago. Her employment law practice represents workers facing discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, hostile working conditions, and other workplace problems. She also assists clients who have been denied promotions or need to negotiate severance agreements. Her practice includes real estate closings and other civil matters, but protecting employees and whistleblowers is central to her work.

Chiquita earned a B.A. in Political Science–Public Law, with a minor in Communication Studies, from Northern Illinois University. She later received her J.D. from Southern University Law Center. Her legal training included a law clinic externship and international criminal and constitutional law studies. She also gained mediation experience at the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, which supports her ability to evaluate disputes and communicate with parties holding different positions.

Before establishing her own practice, Chiquita served as a law clerk at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and interned with Chicago law firms. She now handles employment disputes that may involve protected-class discrimination, whistleblower protections, adverse job actions, and separation terms. She is admitted in Illinois and in the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois. Her experience combines legal research, negotiated resolutions, and representation in contested workplace claims.

Chiquita Hall-Jackson has served on the board and legislative committee of NELA-Illinois, participating in efforts to improve employee protections. She has also taught legal writing as an adjunct professor and worked with a nonprofit organization focused on teaching young people about their legal rights. Her work links individual employee advocacy with legal education and professional service. She seeks to help clients understand their options and challenge workplace conduct that may violate the law.
