Chasta Pyle

Chasta Pyle is a family law attorney with Holtey Brown Newsom in Portland. Her practice has focused exclusively on family law since 2019. She represents families in divorce and modification matters, has been appointed as counsel for children in high-conflict cases, and is trained in the collaborative divorce process. Her work combines traditional litigation with a collaborative approach designed to help clients address difficult family transitions while protecting important parenting, financial, and legal interests.

Chasta earned a Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2015. She received Bachelor of Science degrees in Sport Management and Marketing Management from Daniel Webster College in 2011, graduating summa cum laude. During law school, she worked through the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic on bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, and family law cases. She received the clinic’s Outstanding Advocate Award and earned membership in the Cornelius Honor Society for work with the Council on Court Procedures.

Chasta spent several years at a small civil law firm after law school, gaining experience in civil litigation, business law, probate, land use, and appellate work before moving into family law. Her current practice includes divorce, modifications, representation of children in high-conflict matters, collaborative divorce, and related family disputes. That earlier civil practice gives her a broader litigation and procedural background while her later work remains concentrated on family law and client advocacy.

Chasta Pyle has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2017. Her background shows a clear progression from legal clinic advocacy and broad civil practice into a dedicated family law practice.
