Charlie J. Harris, Jr. is an attorney at Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC in Kansas City, Missouri, where he maintains a national employment and business litigation practice. He also serves as an AAA arbitrator and mediator in complex litigation and has been appointed as a special master by state and federal judges to address discovery issues in significant commercial and business cases.

Charlie J. Harris, Jr. was the first African American elected president of The Missouri Bar and has served as a Missouri Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearing Officer. His professional recognition includes Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation, Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and Super Lawyers. In 2026, his name was added to Kansas City’s Freedom Wall Monument to Freedom, Justice and Courage. Harris combines trial experience, business judgment, mediation work, and professional leadership in representing employers and organizations across complex disputes.
