About
Charles H. Kuck is the Founding Partner of Kuck Baxter and leads its worldwide immigration practice. He advises investors, employers, and individuals on visas, labor certifications, and citizenship matters. He also handles federal court immigration cases and has represented asylum seekers in more than 700 trials.
Charles earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in 1986 and his J.D., cum laude, from Arizona State University Law School in 1989. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Washington, D.C., and Arizona, and before the U.S. Supreme Court and multiple federal courts.
Charles works with a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations, technology firms, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and families. He assists with business and professional visas, immigrant petitions, and consular matters. He also maintains a strong pro bono practice supporting immigrants and asylum seekers in complex cases.
Charles has taught immigration law for over 20 years at Emory University School of Law and the University of Georgia School of Law. He teaches both survey and advanced courses, helping train future lawyers while staying engaged with changing immigration laws and policies.
Charles has received many honors, including recognition as one of the top five Highly Regarded Corporate Immigration Lawyers in the World in 2020. He was also named a top Immigration Thought Leader and a Georgia Super Lawyer, reflecting his strong reputation in immigration law.
Charles H. Kuck is a former National President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a founding member of ABIL. He serves on several boards and speaks widely on immigration issues while supporting immigrant communities through advocacy and education.
