Catherine La Fleur is a board-certified civil trial specialist with extensive experience across civil litigation, family law, appellate advocacy, and mediation. She has represented clients in jury trials involving personal injury, eminent domain, real estate misrepresentation, and legal negligence. Her focus remains on delivering strong legal strategies and clear results.

Catherine began her academic journey at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, earning a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 1985. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1988. In 2001, she completed a Mediation Workshop through Harvard Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers, further sharpening her dispute resolution skills.

Catherine has taught litigation-based courses as an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School for two decades. She has also served on the Wisconsin Bar’s Board of Governors, chaired the Litigation Board, and was an elected member of the Wisconsin Judicial Council for six years. Her public service includes appointments to study regulatory procedures within the legal system.

Catherine is a longtime member of organizations such as the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and Professional Dimensions. She has also held leadership roles in multiple Marquette University alumni boards and continues to serve on the State Bar’s Appellate Practice Board.

Catherine has earned recognition as a Super Lawyer in multiple years and holds an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of professional excellence. Her appellate work has led to favorable published decisions, and her trial experience spans a wide range of legal disputes. She is also an active contributor to national legal seminars.
