Cate Eranthe

Cate Eranthe is an experienced California bankruptcy attorney with over two decades of litigation and discovery experience. Her practice is focused on helping individuals and small businesses regain financial control through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, debt relief, and tax resolution services.

A San Francisco native, Cate developed an early interest in the law and later earned her license to practice in California, including admission to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District. She brings sharp problem-solving skills and deep attention to detail to every matter she handles, using her love of puzzles and strategy to guide clients through financial complexities.

Cate’s practice includes representing clients in Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, and Sonoma counties. She works with consumers and business owners facing IRS debt of $15,000 or more, provides student loan counseling, and handles select debt defense and settlement cases. She accepts bankruptcy cases only when there is a high likelihood of a successful discharge.
