She then completed a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services at Fordham University in 1984. Later, she earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she also contributed to the Law Review.
After law school, Carol began practicing in consumer bankruptcy law, working on cases involving student loans, credit reporting, and debt collection practices. Her legal background includes experience in both debtor representation and bankruptcy litigation, giving her a well-rounded perspective on financial legal matters.
In addition to her bankruptcy practice, Carol is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. She frequently handles mortgage loan modification mediations for debtors involved in bankruptcy, offering structured solutions to clients facing financial uncertainty.
Carol expanded her legal practice in 2015 to include employment law. She focuses on workplace discrimination and employee rights under Title VII. In 2020, she also became an instructor for The Alternative Dispute Resolution Academy, where she teaches labor mediation and employment law practices.
