Carl R. ‘Bo’ Dawson

Carl R. ‘Bo’ Dawson is a highly experienced trial attorney and partner at his firm. He also serves as the City Attorney for Weimar, providing legal counsel on municipal matters. With decades of experience, he has handled various legal disputes, including civil litigation, commercial law, construction liability, and personal injury. Mr. Dawson earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston in 1988. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston in 1991. That same year, he was admitted to the Texas State Bar, marking the beginning of his distinguished legal career.

Since his licensure, Mr. Dawson has been lead counsel in over 1,000 lawsuits across Texas. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, handling cases related to professional liability, commercial disputes, construction defects, product liability, and personal injury. His extensive trial experience includes numerous jury trials, where he has served as first-chair counsel, as well as state and federal appeals.

Mr. Dawson is board-certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by only a small percentage of Texas attorneys. His expertise also extends to arbitration, where he has represented clients in disputes involving construction defects, contract breaches, and employment law.
