About
Cameron Cano is a Texas partner who focuses on consumer litigation and mass tort matters for people who have suffered serious injuries. He represents individuals facing complex claims and draws on prior defense-side experience when evaluating corporate strategies, evidence, and litigation risks. He has tried a wide range of cases since beginning his legal career, using courtroom preparation and practical advocacy to pursue positions for injured clients throughout contested proceedings.
Cameron earned his J.D., cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law in 2018 with a Special Distinction in Litigation. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 and completed a Certificate in Business Foundations. His law school experience included repeated Dean’s List recognition and extensive advocacy training, including awards in multiple national competitions that strengthened his courtroom, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Cameron began his career at a national defense firm, where he represented corporate interests before shifting his practice to plaintiff-side litigation. He now uses that background to help hundreds of clients who have been seriously injured. His experience on both sides of contested matters helps him anticipate defense arguments, evaluate litigation strategy, prepare witnesses, and develop cases for negotiation or trial when disputes involve significant injuries and substantial financial consequences.
Cameron Cano was selected as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2025. He is admitted in Texas and before the US District Courts for the Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas. He also volunteers as a local representative for the Texas Lawyers’ Assistance Program, supporting legal professionals dealing with mental health and addiction concerns. His background reflects sustained courtroom work, professional service, and focused advocacy for injured clients.
