Caitlin Higgins

Caitlin Higgins is a partner at Tate Bywater in Vienna, Virginia. She focuses her practice on domestic relations, personal injury, and civil litigation. Her family law work addresses legal issues that arise in domestic relationships, while her broader litigation practice gives her experience handling contested civil matters. She brings several years of Northern Virginia practice experience to matters that require preparation, client communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.

Caitlin earned her Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her professional development included positions as an associate attorney at Livesay & Myers, P.C. and JHS Family Law Group, PLC. She worked as a law clerk for MacDowell Law Group, P.C. and Legal Services Corporation before joining Tate Bywater.

Caitlin’s practice places domestic relations at the center while retaining experience in personal injury and civil litigation.
