Brittany Laura

Brittany Laura is an associate attorney at Moss & Colella, P.C., a Michigan practice representing people in personal injury and civil rights cases. She joined the team after passing the July 2025 Michigan bar examination and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in November 2025. Brittany chose plaintiffs’ work because of its direct impact on people who have been harmed. Her practice supports clients pursuing accountability and compensation through the civil justice system.

Brittany earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. She attended law school on a full merit scholarship. While studying law, she participated in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute and competed in moot court. She also served as treasurer of the Women’s Law Caucus, secretary of the Business Law Society Institute, and a member of the university hearing board.

Brittany’s training provided experience in courtroom advocacy, case preparation, research, and presenting legal arguments. Her participation in trial practice and moot court required her to analyze evidence and explain positions under questioning. At Moss & Colella, she works in a litigation-focused practice handling personal injury and civil rights claims against private and public defendants. These matters can involve complex questions about responsibility, injuries, and the legal remedies available to affected people.

Brittany Laura brings a background in accounting and formal trial advocacy training to her work with injured clients. Her law school leadership roles reflect experience working with colleagues and legal organizations. As a newer member of the Michigan bar, she contributes to a team handling disputes in which people seek relief for harm caused by negligence or violations of civil rights.
