Brittany E. Barbee is an associate attorney at Tollison & Webb P.A., whose practice centers on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption cases. She represents individuals and families facing legal challenges and works to help them understand their rights and options. Her background also includes education law, civil rights, and children’s rights matters. Through her legal work, she has supported clients during difficult transitions and has focused on achieving outcomes through representation.
Brittany earned a J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a B.S. from Centenary College of Louisiana. Her academic training provided a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, and problem-solving. During her career, she has applied that knowledge to matters involving students, families, and community members. Her education, combined with professional experience in legal and academic settings, has helped her develop a balanced perspective that supports effective representation and thoughtful guidance for people seeking legal assistance.
Brittany served as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the University of Mississippi School of Law before joining private practice. In that role, she helped develop programs that supported student engagement and well-being while contributing to a positive learning environment. She also worked as a Law Fellow with the Children’s Rights practice group at the Southern Poverty Law Center. These positions allowed her to advocate for others, address legal and educational concerns, and contribute to efforts aimed at improving access to justice for underserved communities.
Brittany E. Barbee remains active in the legal profession through leadership, service, and educational initiatives. She is a past president of the Oxford Area Young Lawyers, a graduate of the Leadership Mississippi Bar program, and a member of the Fellows of the Young Lawyers of the Mississippi Bar. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Brittany continues helping clients navigate family law matters while drawing on a broad legal background and commitment to public service.
