Briley McVey

Briley McVey is an Associate in Kelley Drye & Warren LLP’s International Trade practice in Washington, D.C. While attending law school, he interned with the U.S. Department of Justice at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of Illinois and represented underserved veterans in civil legal matters through the university’s Veterans Legal Clinic.

Before joining Kelley Drye, McVey served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462. His government internship and clinical work gave him experience with legal research, public service, and client matters before entering international trade practice. These roles complement his work on customs and trade compliance questions, where careful review of regulations and government requirements is central to advising clients.
