Brian Clymer

Brian Clymer is a Tucson attorney with more than 40 years of experience in Arizona workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability law. In his role as “Of Counsel,” he provides guidance and strategic insight drawn from decades of experience handling complex claims, appeals, and precedent-setting cases for injured workers.

Brian earned his B.A. – 1975 from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, graduating with Intermediate Honors and High Distinction. He double majored in American Government and Speech. He later received his J.D. in 1978 from the University of Arizona College of Law in Tucson, Arizona, graduating with High Distinction.

Brian has been licensed to practice law in Arizona since October 7, 1978. He was admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court (Arizona State Bar), 1978, the US District Court for the District of Arizona, 1978, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, 1980.

Brian has represented claimants in Social Security Disability appeals before the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, the Appeals Council, and the federal courts. He secured a published decision in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In workers’ compensation matters, he has won cases before the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court involving heart attacks, hearing loss, pesticide exposure, and gradual injury claims.

Brian Clymer has also contributed to the legal field through leadership and writing. He served as co-chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Arizona and participated on advisory committees focused on improving Arizona’s workers’ compensation system.
