About
Brandon P. Ruggieri is a senior associate at Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman who works from the firm’s Providence and Boston offices. He handles complex civil litigation involving premises liability, professional liability, commercial and business disputes, and construction matters. Ruggieri represents individuals and businesses in state and federal courts and assists clients with civil disputes and licensing issues that require careful legal analysis and practical problem solving.
Ruggieri earned a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2018. He served as an assistant editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards during law school. He received a B.A. from Stonehill College in 2015, graduating cum laude with a political science background that supported his later training in legal research, writing, advocacy, and dispute resolution.
Ruggieri began his post-law-school career as a judicial law clerk to Judge Debra L. Olsson of the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court. He previously interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Rhode Island. Those roles added courtroom and public-sector experience to a practice that now includes civil litigation across multiple liability and business-related areas in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Brandon P. Ruggieri is admitted in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Courts for both states. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and Defense Counsel of Rhode Island. His litigation background, clerkship experience, and work across several categories of civil disputes support a practical approach to evaluating claims, preparing cases, and helping clients address contested legal and business issues.
