About
Bob P. Audette is the managing partner of Audette, Audette & Violette and represents clients in workers’ compensation, personal injury, Social Security Disability, and estate planning matters. His injury practice includes serious and catastrophic injuries and illnesses. He also handles claims arising under federal compensation systems, including the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act.
Audette earned a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Providence College and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. His legal education supports a practice involving statutory benefit systems, civil injury claims, disability issues, and estate planning. The combination requires analysis of medical evidence, benefit eligibility, litigation procedure, and the legal documents used to protect clients’ financial and family interests.
Audette has devoted most of his practice to litigation and has handled workers’ compensation and personal injury matters involving complex medical and employment issues. His federal compensation work extends beyond ordinary state workers’ compensation claims and may involve maritime employees, overseas contractors, and other covered workers. He also advises clients on Social Security Disability and estate planning concerns that can accompany injury or disability.
Bob P. Audette has held leadership roles within organizations serving injured workers and trial lawyers, including the Rhode Island Association for Justice and workers’ compensation professional groups. Audette’s practice combines state and federal compensation claims with personal injury, disability, and planning work. He represents clients through claims, negotiations, administrative proceedings, and litigation while addressing the financial consequences that often follow serious injury or disability.
