Bill Boyar

Bill Boyar is a Houston attorney with decades of experience in business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and real estate. As a founding shareholder, he has represented clients across the U.S. and internationally in complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, project financings, and joint ventures. His practice also spans healthcare, energy, hospitality, and private equity, where he provides practical solutions and strategic guidance to businesses navigating growth, capital formation, and deal structuring.

Mr. Boyar earned both his B.A. and J.D. from Tulane University. Early in his career, he developed a reputation as a skilled negotiator and strategist, leading him to advise major businesses, private equity funds, and institutional investors. Beyond his legal practice, he authored more than 20 columns for the Houston Business Journal in the “Building Business” series, sharing insights on corporate growth and business leadership.

From 1990 to 2010, Mr. Boyar served as Chairman of BoyarMiller, helping establish the firm’s culture and guiding its growth into one of Houston’s premier business law firms.
