Bertrand Russell Parnall

Bertrand Russell Parnall is the founder of Parnall Law in Albuquerque and represents people injured through negligence. His personal injury practice includes car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, slip-and-fall matters, premises liability, and wrongful death. He leads a firm focused on helping injured clients investigate claims, understand their legal options, document losses, and pursue compensation through settlement negotiations or litigation when necessary.

Bert earned a J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law and a B.A. in History and French from Rice University. He also studied at La Sorbonne. His education provided a foundation in legal analysis, writing, advocacy, and communication that supports personal injury litigation. After law school, he developed substantial courtroom experience in public service before moving into plaintiff-side injury practice and later building a firm dedicated to victims of negligence.

Bert began his legal career as a Senior Trial Prosecutor in Valencia and Sandoval Counties, handling serious criminal cases and jury trials. He transitioned to personal injury law in 2004 and founded Parnall Law in 2009. His current practice covers a wide range of serious injury matters, including vehicle collisions, medical negligence, premises claims, and injuries involving vulnerable people. His prosecutorial background contributes courtroom experience and a strong understanding of trial preparation.

Bertrand Russell Parnall is admitted in New Mexico and has held memberships and leadership roles in state and local legal organizations, including the New Mexico State Bar and Albuquerque Bar Association. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has participated in community and victims’ rights organizations.
