Ben E. Embry

Ben E. Embry is the founding attorney of Embry Family Law P.C. in San Diego, California, where he provides compassionate and experienced legal representation in family law matters. With a background rooted in hard work and resilience, Ben focuses his practice on helping clients navigate emotionally complex issues such as divorce, custody, and financial transitions with empathy and clarity.

Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Kentucky in 2005 and his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2010 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for both the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Initially interested in becoming a sports attorney, Ben’s career path shifted toward family law, where he found his passion for working directly with individuals and families in times of need. Certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization since 2018, he is recognized for his legal skill, thoughtful advocacy, and commitment to client well-being.

Ben E. Embry is also a two-time Super Lawyers honoree (2024–2025) and an Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels member. His own life experiences—including the loss of his close friend and business partner—have deepened his ability to relate to clients during personal hardship and legal uncertainty.
